7th GRADE RUBE GOLDBERG PROJECTS:
Message from Mrs. Couillard:
The CBG 7th grade students have begun working on a major project in science - their Rube Goldberg projects! (Not sure what that is? Ask your child! ) This project will demonstrate their knowledge of motion, work, forces, and simple machines that they've covered in both 6th & 7th grade.
In lieu of a formal science night this year, I would like to invite you into the classroom to see the students' projects as they are presented. If you would like to come in, the students will be presenting their projects on Friday, Dec. 8th and Tuesday, Dec. 12th from 9:50 - 11:15.
This is a large class, so most groups will present on the 8th, and the rest will present on the 12th. I will let you know closer to the dates which students will present on which dates. If you are able to make one and not the other, let me know, and I'll do my best to schedule your child's presentation on the date you can attend.
Thanks for being flexible as we try a different approach to sharing the students' scientific endeavors. I know this time isn't ideal for everyone, but I know that nights can be tough, too.
